kitties needing homes

sigelphoenix: two kitties in the Seattle area need homes.
We found two beautiful, fluffy cats abandoned by their former owners. They are sweet, friendly, and house-trained, just looking for a new home to share the love. The first cat is cuddly, loves to sleep at the foot of the bed, eager to find a comfortable resting place beside a person to call her own. The second is more of a quiet charmer, looks exactly like a deep gray lion, also known affectionately as Mr. Fluffy Pantaloons because of his fur-trousers.
Both are playful, indoor/outdoor, probably 2-3 years old. We are smitten but already have multiple cats, so just caretaking until the right people come along. They are really special.

Right now, I'm reminding myself very sternly of what a hassle even one more cat would be in our current household. But... gray lion kitty! D: Local folks wanting info, please let me know and I'll pass along the contact for the kind person who's taking care of them at the moment.
Also. My philosophy regarding old potatoes has always been this: "If old potatoes were going to kill someone with my genetic make-up, my ancestors would've died off about two hundred years ago." If they're still reasonably solid and not... squishy and green, I'll cook them up with a lot of spices and sauce and stuff. Today, I proved this to be a rather bad idea. Bleck. Because clearly what I needed to make my day better was nausea akin to sea-sickness, and then grumbly-stomach cramps. :P
