notes and pirates

Note to jyuu_chan and stormwolf: You (vous, tous les deux, and other such poorly remembered French), me, dinner, Tokyo Garden. I have my cellphone, though it is low on battery.

Note to housemates: I will be home late, will be on Ave. Same note about cellphone applies.

In the spirit of Talk Like a Pirate Day, I feel compelled to say something. All I can really come up with is that I'm ready to keel-haul one of the mateys here on the frigate if he pulls one more of his eternal conversations with me. Hopefully I can come up with something a bit more pirate-y later.

Tokyo Garden has this amazing sauce they use on their katsu with curry that triggers a negotiation between my tongue and my brain. My tongue tells me to keep eating and usually my stomach (the rather large influence that he is) agrees. Unfortunately, my brain, upon hearing the running commentary from my tongue, tells me that if I keep eating fried chicken covered in Japanese gravy I will surely be hearing from my less than pleased heart somewhere around my 40th birthday.

I don't care for katsu (bad experience in the dorms that I've never quite managed to get past), but I loved their teriyaki chicken. Very nice.
