What is this place, and what did it do with my normal Seattle winter?

...On second thought, I prefer snow (being as it's dry) to endless rain (being as it's not). But... it's been snowy for something like a week now! This is not normal!

Whatever's been making Kendra all dizzy and woozy, I suspect it's the same thing that's given me steadily worse (and steadily earlier) pounding headaches the last few nights. Yesterday it started at about 4pm. Tonight I work until 9pm. At least I do unless I get another rendition of Headache Hell and manage to beg out of the last day of textbook returns.

Yeah. Add that to the snow and we're going to have a reeeeeally interesting day in textbook world, I think. Lots of people calling in bitching that they can't return their textbooks because it's OMG SNOW! outside.

Huh. That's the same problem with headaches as I've been having - every night, and steadily getting earlier (and worse). I'd thought it was my eyes, or something leading up to this ear infection, but maybe a virus or something . . .

Okay, that's weird. My roommate had the pounding headache thing, too, but she didn't necessarily notice them getting progressively earlier or worse... she just discovered one day that she couldn't stand up without getting really dizzy. Which I haven't had yet - I just get the headache pounding worse when I get up... which is kinda strange since usually I'm fairly prone to head-rush dizzy stuff.

Argh. I'd assumed it was a sinus thing, but you're right about this maybe pointing to a virus. Yuck.

Well, it could be a virus that affects the sinuses . . . that would make sense with it leading to an ear infection, for me.

Arghhh. I hope you and she get better, though! I got the dizzy thing as well, but much more mildly- mostly, it just made my eyes hurt by the end of the day, and I couldn't focus them because of the headache.

I feel your pain. Really. Because it was snowing here this morning. Here, in Southeast Texas. It didn't stick or anything, but it's arse cold outside and, frankly, I'm not prepared for this!

o_O Woah. Okay, Seattle at least gets snow - usually only once a year and for only a day or so, but we get it. You guys... wow.

Just... stay off the roads as much as you can, and bundle up? I can't imagine S.E. Texans are any better at driving in snow than Seattle-ites are, and we have a scary reputation for stupid drivers when the white stuff shows itself. :P

This has definitely been a strange weather year thus far, and sinuses, UGH! I think everyone is feeling the pain. Are either of you running fevers at all? That would lead me to believe it is for sure a virus/infection of some kind. I hope you both feel better soon.

it's been iced over in california. i actually slipped and fell on a patch of ice outside my front door. if there were precipitation (hah!), it'd probably snow a little.

expect all your citrus to be imported this year, kids. or, i guess, from florida, maybe.

I've had headaches all week as well as asthma. I think it's the pressure inversion from all the cloud cover. They had a burn ban in effect a few days ago. Winter is really rough on a lot of people. Let's all wish really hard for spring.
