weekend round-up

It has been a Good Weekend.

Yesterday I overslept (such a guilty pleasure) and then went out to dinner with some of the crew and zinjadu and her family - always a pleasure, especially since I stuffed myself absolutely rotten on seafood. For all that I grew up eating oysters and crab most summers at our family cabin, I haven't had them in ages. They make me sooooo happy. ♥

Then today was sleeping in a bit less, and then out to breakfast at the local American comfort-food place for deliciously rich and huge portions of biscuits and gravy with endless coffee, out to my favorite new/used clothing shop, where I bought a few new shirts... and, on a whim, to the local new/used CD store. I meant to find that darned Jess Klein CD that always seems to elude me, but I found something even better. I am now the (very!) proud owner of the first season of Doctor Who.

Now, on to the writing, since I seem to have inadvertently been bunnied by a most ferocious and bizarre little bunny. I'm not sure if anything good will come of it... but if nothing does, I certainly have enough other things that I ought to be working on. :P

Also, planning new icons soon. Yay. New icons always make me happy.

Well.... okay, those weren't meant to be quite so closely associated. I meant more that I didn't really do anything of note between waking up and going to dinner. I pretty much just hung around the house.

It wasn't quite as bad as it sounded. ;)
