rivendellroseI know, it hasn't actually been long at all. But it was a busy few days!
We've got all the vital stuff, furniture and all that moved into the new place, and things are slowly settling down. Still a few little snags, like when I tried to set up my PC yesterday and discovered that I'd apparently neglected to pack the power cord (I had all the peripherals and their various cords, but had forgotten the one that goes into the main computer), but for the most part it's looking good. I'll be setting up my laptop for internet in the next few days, so that I can post and check email from the library or cafes when I want to. We're going to wait on home internet for a while yet, I think.
In other news, I finally got around to getting my hair cut. I've got some pictures on my digital camera, but without the main computer I haven't had the chance to edit them yet - I'll try to get them up tomorrow or Wednesday, if I can. It's chin length, very light, and so far very easy to take care of. I'm exceedingly happy with how it turned out. XD
