This is me Not Looking At Spoilers. Seriously. I won't.

...I'll just make big shocked eyes at nekokoban every time she finds something particularly shocking, get juuuuuust enough details out of her that I freak out, and then clamp down and remind myself that I don't want the book ruined for me before I get it. I'll read it too fast, anyway, so I might as well ensure that I at least won't already know everything interesting by the time I get the darned thing. Besides, all spoilers at this point are in the "Might be true, might also be total bunk" category.

If the one serious spoiler I've picked up so far is true, though... It could be interesting. In not an especially fun way. o_O

Seriously though, it's everywhere! New York Times, Seattle PI, Seattle Times, Salon.com... I hear even the Wall Street Journal has a big thing on it! Repent, sinners, for the Potterdamerung approacheth! XD

Eee. I'm kind of on "keep it away from meeeeeeee" mode juuuuuuuuuust in case it's real. 'Cause... you never know. Especially having heard the DeepDiscount and another online dealer shipped some of theirs early.

I can't wait to hear how they compare - I suspect there are some really interesting fan-written fakes out there right now. XD

See, I heard of a leaked book from a while ago that turned out to be fanfic. See, I'd love to read such a fanfic ANYway, buuuut I wanna read the real thing first.

Also have to re-read all of the series again before I'm allowed to open Book 7. :X

Obsessive reading for the rest of this week and this weekend? YES.

(My copy's coming in on Tuesday; I get the Canadian versions, because it's the British edit, rather than the American. :D)

Yeah, I was expecting all the leaks to be fanfic. I mean, when I worked at the U-Bookstore, we heard that the books were going to be coming to us in a giant crate wrapped in chains.

...I'm sort of sorry I'm not still there, just so I could run upstairs and take a picture of myself, like... sitting on the box, or something. XD

I'd like to have the British edit, but... I'm also not patient enough. I just know that once the book is out I'll be totally "ohmigod TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED!!!" So I have to read it as fast as I can to avoid just plain begging people to spoil me. I'm pathetic that way.

It's my ex-roommate-co-worker-cubicle-mate. She keeps IMing me going "OHMIGOD." And since she doesn't even like the books that much, I figure that anything that gets her riled has to be exciting... and I have poor restraint when it comes to these things.
