random notes
Jul. 25th, 2007 02:05 pmFigures that I would finally finish my over-due
springkink fic last night, and then forget my thumb-drive today and thus not be able to post it. And of course my Book 7 review is there as well. And I can't even do the round I'd intended of saving some fanfic for later reading. Yes, I really really do need to set up my laptop for internet access. I'm just... sort of afraid to see what he might do to himself when I do. Why do you think New Computer is named after a (well... several, actually) entirely self-sufficient and reliably practical characters, rather than a spastic and somewhat over-enthusiastic little twit? :P
It also figures that as soon as I actually have internet access and an hour of free time, I end up sitting around thinking "what was I going to look up? Hmmm...."
I have such an exciting life. XD
Oh. Random Fabric Plea: If any of the Seattle folks happen to have old shirts they don't want or something laying around patterned either in white with blue pin-stripes or brown with white or yellow-tan type pin-stripes, I would happily take the fabric off your hands for a project I'm working on. Size doesn't matter, and it doesn't matter if the fabric is a bit worn (especially on the white with blue).
Yes, I could just buy some, but the nearest fabric store is in Ballard, and I won't have a chance to run either there or to a thrift store until the weekend. So I might as well give it a shot, right? Besides, recycling!
Also, I am contented by the choice of Naomi Watts for Narcissa, and... intrigued to see what the heck they mean to do with Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend. I only hope this is not a sign that they for one reason or another have been stuck recasting Tom Riddle. I was really banking on Movie 6 as our last chance to see Christian Coulson. *g*
