This morning, there was a fight on the bus. An actual fight - two big guys brawling about... oh, three or four seats away from me. They had to get everybody off and call the police, who subsequently arrested one of the two guys.

I suppose a little "oh god I'm going to die if these guys happen to roll their fight my way" first thing in the morning really puts things in perspective.

Eeep, I hope the other person is okay, too! *Shakes head* Must be a bad day to ride the bus, I guess...

I've been taking downtown buses in Seattle since I was 15, and I've never had anything like this happen. Annoying crazy people sometimes, yeah, but never an actual violent fight. Veeeeeeeeery weird - that's just not normal for Seattle.

First time I took the Seattle busses there was a fist fight at a bus stop right before we got there and the puncher got on the bus and was being all macho about. The recipient was still at the stop, blood running down their face.

...But don't worry, once we were off the bus I was apparently sufficiently-recovered to try to flirt with one of the guys who was standing around waiting with us. *Headdesk* I worry about my brain sometimes....

Ooh, I'm so glad you're ok. You know that I have had my own issues on downtown bus rides too, so I completely sympathize (don't think I haven't seen you going through my parents underwear drawer!) ;D

Oh, god, that's right. I'd almost forgotten about that woman!

Commute went fine today. Everything else is a wreck, but the commute was fine. So that's something.
