There you go. That is Whirly Ball. And also me (in the green jacket) proving yet again that I really shouldn't be put in charge of anything that moves, other than my own feet. It was fun, though!

YES. And you know how bad I am at catching things! And also at driving things that have weird steering and all... yeah. I was, like, 150% fail, it was kind of hilarious. In his morning email today Thomas described me as trying to drive in 4 directions at once. *Headdesk*

It was sort of awesome! Except also really kind of absurdly difficult, which... is part of the awesome, really. Because it's impossible for anyone to really be all that fantastically good at it.

Literally anybody could be better than me, mind you. But I had fun!

Aww, thanks. Everytime I look at it I get wigged about what a silly expression I'm making. Ah well - that's what unplanned photos are for, I guess...

Hi there, rivendellrose. I first found your journal after reading your thoughtful comments in this thread in icthyo_sapiens. The kitty pics and Abe photoshop alone were enough to make me stick around, but you look like a cool chick all around.

Congratulations on finishing the novel, and best of luck with the publishing field! It's a tricky business, from what friends have said... personally, I'll be pleased as punch if I ever manage to just finish something, myself. Right now it feels like my computer is full of half-finished projects.
