I refuse to take pictures of my bandaged up knees (because, honestly, having co-workers say things like "but, please tell me you were at least drunk when this happened" after I tell them the story is bad enough), but I did finally take a picture of the Torchwood t-shirt this morning, as I promised I would ages ago.

Oh, and there's also a picture of one of the rabid evil boots.

I'm backwards in this shot (I had to flip it so the text would be legible because it was taken in the mirror...), and it's totally weirding me out. My watch is on the wrong arm! Also, is not that towel in the right edge of the picture the most awesome towel in the world? I ♥ my towel. XD

I think it's laughing at me, the damned thing.

(Seriously though - major thanks to everybody who's offered advice on how to get these things fixed. I think it'll be a while before I'm brave enough to really wear them again, but I'd still like not to completely lose out on them. They're pretty! They're just... also evil.)

Did you find them at Buffalo?

Yeah, I did. As for height, they make me just slightly shorter than Kendra, but she couldn't remember how tall she was last time we talked about it. I think all told they probably add about 4 inches.

Non-skid shoe pads? Those shoes are too cute to not wear.

Those are awesome if only they made them in squished things for guys. I hate loosing the traction on my shoes!

All shoes should have traction. I do not understand this "oh, you're a girl wearing heels, you don't need traction" philosophy that shoe companies seem to have!

I have never worn heels I did not know it was a epidemic. I wear out traction after a while with my shoes. I buy them for the long haul!

Maybe? I've got another recommendation in the other entry, so I'm going to look into my options... damn things are really cute, they're just... hazardous. XD

(And those things are seriously cute!)

Those are some dangerous boots. And I don't mean in the slip-and-fall sense. More in the make-strong-men-weep sense.

I know. And that's why I wanted to wear them! Because they're awesome! But skinned knees and palms... really only sexy for a very disturbing section of the population, I figure.

I just need to get them figured out before Halloween... I was hoping to use them with my costume, and if we work things out so we can go clubbing.... I need not to be falling all the time. :P
