RARE OCTOPUS FOSSIL FOUND!

Check out that picture, guys. Seriously. Isn't that so unbelievably awesome?? ♥ And there's a video of an octopus squeezing through a maze, but I can't watch it because I'm at work, and that makes me sad. Because I bet it's fabulous.

Why don't I have an octopus icon? Must fix this!

That's a beautiful fossil.

And the video was frickin' awesome. They had a couple great shots of the octopus exiting a small hole tentacles-first, with the tentacles unfolding themselves one by one out of the hole. It looked like some sort of eldritch monster coming through from another dimension.

Lol. There's something about octopi - they always look like aliens from another dimension, to me. At the aquarium, I always end up standing in front of the huge Pacific octopus, staring into her weeeeeeeird eyes, feeling like I ought to try... I don't know, raising my hand and trying to express peace in as many ways as possible.

....This may possibly be why I love going to see her so much. ;)
