a movie review
Feb. 25th, 2004 12:56 pmHere is NPR commentator and Los Angeles Times film critic Kenneth Turan's review of "The Passion of the Christ." He brings up some very interesting points that I hadn't considered, and I generally very much liked the review.
ladysonnet, I think you'll find this particularly interesting.
I continue to say that I'm glad it's not just me that sees this movie as an all-around bad idea. I saw fuel on flames as soon as the first poster showed up in the dorms.
Also, I was displeased this morning to be stuck erasing huge messages from all the boards on the second floor of Mary Gates Hall this morning - the LaRouche people have reached new heights of rude idiocy, in my humble opinion. It's not enough, any more, for them to stand outside with their annoying little tables and shout and try to force flyers into people's hands - now they have to go into classrooms and lay flyers on every desk, and write big ole stupid messages on the boards, the removal of which makes extra work for my supervisor and I. (He came into it because I had to ask him whether it was ok for me to throw them all away - I wasn't sure of the policy on that.)
I'm done ranting now.
