Public Service Announcement...
Mar. 3rd, 2004 05:06 pmAKA "this poster nearly made me cry and I will feel awful if I don't do some stupid little thing to help."
This is particularly for you folks who spend time on South Campus or near Hitchcock and the Med Center, since that's where I saw the posters...
Someone is missing their cat. He's a "chubby" brown tabby, 3 years old, wearing a collar with a little electronic sensor-box, but no tags. His name is Tiger, and they made a point of saying that he's normally very friendly, but is an indoor cat and so is probably very scared and possibly trying to hide.
I know this is a long-shot, particularly here in the city, but I'd feel like crap if I didn't at least put it out there to you all. If you see him, the posters ask you to call (206) 525-3362, and they're offering a $50-100 reward.
Oh yeah... this is cross-posted to my GJ.

Date: 2004-03-03 05:48 pm (UTC)I hope that someone up there has seen or knows of poor Tiger and he can get home to his Mommy.
Monday during work, a car coming the opposite direction from me hit a cat running across the street in front of him. Poor man he got out of the car and checked, and the cat was dead, so he moved it to the side of the road, he was crying,
All of us in the van (well most of us) were crying, OWWW, it was just so sad.
He was going to look around the neighborhood
for the owners, but we had to get on to our next house. Hope everything turns out soo much better for Tiger.

Date: 2004-03-03 06:18 pm (UTC)Can't stand bad things happening to cats. It drives me crazy. Thank god I've never seen one get hit, I think I'd be sick the rest of the day.
