Yeah, at least you have no-kills there. Seattle sounds to be far ahead of most places I've been re: animal welfare, so no judgments! The idea of people surrendering just kills me though. Poor kitties.

Good points, all.

Oh, I wasn't trying to talk you into keeping him, lol.. I know people can be pretty strict on those rules, and it's hard to take care of your kitties when you've nowhere for them to live, not to mention yourself.
Funny thing, when we had 9, the balance was PERFECT until we moved, and then it all went awry. Once Jack entered the equation, this tiny little underfed (who cries like a baby elephant, it is so tiny and mewly!) kitten took to terrorizing every thing else in the house. I have no idea why the rest of my cats (huge things, with giant claws) put up with him.

I wonder if it has to do with fear of hoarding, or worry about litterbox odors. Or possibly some misguided impression that a mere 2 kitties cannot completely pee-drench a place if so inclined? Although, now that I'm really thinking about it, I suspect it's something to do with fire-codes, or insurance or something.

Aww, he is lovely. And so fluffy! Seems to know it, too.
Poor abandoned kitty. Least he's got a loving home now.
I have to ask.. is Random named after the Amber character?

Good luck!
