The curse of Part Two strikes again.
It just figures that I finally get 'round to liking Rory just in time for them to kill him off. I rather suspect we'll be seeing him again by the end of the series, but... honestly? Erasing him from time and space, including Amy's memory? Amy and Donna need to start the "red-headed companions of the Doctor who'd really like their full memories back now" club.
Also, mothers? Still evil and wrong.
And a broken piece of the Tardis is the shrapnel he picks out of the crack in space-time. Poor Tardis!
...Next week, Van Gogh and Bill Nighy! Aaaand hopefully much better writing!
Edited to add: It wasn't like I hated this episode, exactly, just... eh. I dunno. Still loved Eleven, still quite fond of Amy, liked the actual-alien-looking-aliens quite well, just was overall quite underwhelmed by the episode as a whole.
