It does seem to attract a particular kind of personality/set of interests. I had a friend/roommate in undergrad who was in our SCA chapter. I tagged along a couple times to dance lessons they gave, but I am totally not crafty or into camping (and my historical interests are concentrated pretty much in the nineteenth century), so it wasn't a great fit for me, though I liked the people. But hey, tiny residential school, so I saw them all the time anyway. :)
Let alone Sheridan forgetting, not to mention everyone else on the station - of course they forget! JMS can't remember!!!
Pretty much, yes. (Although I admire his organization and drive, sometimes I think it would've been better to have a few more people in on the writing of this thing...)
