rivendellroseIt didn't take me long to get behind in the fanfic meme, but I'm picking it right back up and making up for a bit of lost time!
2 – Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.

3 – For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?
Oh boy. Okay, in my world, fandoms never really die - things I don't write for anymore are marked as "on hiatus," because I never really know whether or not I'll come back to them at some point, if someone requests something or if I come up with a new idea or decide to finish something that got dropped partway through. If I mark something as "still writing," it's because I either have something I'm currently working on, or I'm actively seeking and looking forward to new ideas in that fandom. In alphabetical order, because I can't be bothered to figure out the chronology:
Babylon 5 - 21 stories, still writing. Delenn, Susan, Dukhat, Lennier, and, most recently, Neroon. One of these things is not like the other... and still ends up living on their planet. What can I say, I love the living daylights out of the Minbari. Marcus and Sheridan are also quite entertaining to write.
Battlestar Galactica (2003) - 2 stories, still writing. Helo, Sharon, Kara, and Leoben. And... that pretty much covers all the characters I've written, let alone my favorites. I've got a work in progress with Leoben and Kara again, but neither of them are cooperating with me at the moment. Someday I really will write some Roslin/Adama, I just haven't quite figured out how I want to do it, yet.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - 8 stories, on hiatus. Giles, of course, and the ill-fated Jenny. I also quite like writing Willow. Also Drusilla, who is eerily fun to play with. Every time I try to write Buffy, I end up with first or second season Buffy dialogue, no matter how old she's meant to be in the story.
Doctor Who & Torchwood - 33 stories, on hiatus. Eight, Four, Ten, Nine and Romana. The really unexpected one that I ended up loving was writing for Lucy Saxon.
Firefly - 27 stories, on hiatus. Mostly wrote Wash and Zoe and Inara and Mal.
Harry Potter - 11 stories, on hiatus. Narcissa Malfoy, Lupin, and Hermione. Weird bunch, huh?
Hellboy (mostly the movies) - 6 stories, on hiatus. I will never escape Nuala and Nuada, but I like writing for Abe and Liz as well. One of these days I'll finish something with Kate Corrigan as a main character. I keep trying and running up against walls.
Highlander (TV series) - 10 stories, on hiatus. Methos, of course. I also have an extremely soft spot for Joe, and his daughter Amy.
'Keeper' series by Tanya Huff - 1 story, on hiatus. Claire and Austin, of course.
Merlin (BBC) - 2 stories, on hiatus. Morgana, Merlin, Gwen, and Arthur.
Pirates of the Caribbean - 2 stories, on hiatus. Elizabeth actually remembering that she's kind of a bad-ass, damn it, and Will being a damsel in distress.
'Smoke and--' series by Tanya Huff - 1 story, on hiatus. Tony! Also Henry, because he is awesome and could kick Edward's butt with both hands tied behind his back.
Star Trek: DS9 - 4 stories, on hiatus. Garak and Bashir. I'm not actually sure I've ever really written anyone else as anything but cameos, honestly...
Tactics (anime) - 1 story, on hiatus. I can't get into Kantarou's head, but I really enjoyed writing from Haruka's point of view.
The X-Files - 3 stories, on hiatus. Scully and Mulder, naturally. If anyone else shows up, they're pretty much just a foil.
Goodness. A lot of fandoms, that.
