public service announcement
Jun. 28th, 2004 09:28 pmI'm sure by the time I've typed this I will be the umpteen-billionth person to say so, but the rumour floating around about "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" being the title of the next book is patently FALSE.
Not only was it the working title of Chamber of Secrets (as pointed out by The Leaky Cauldron), but we have the word right from JKR, on her Rumours page: "It's simply filler, as many of you knew."
And the fandom may now breathe a sigh of relief.
ETA: And for the other nerds like me who occasionally play with JKR's official site and like to find hidden things on it, I offer a clue. Play with the cell phone for a bit. I may be the only person under the sun who hadn't figured this out yet, but I was very pleased with myself once I got it.
And again: Finally took that Hogwarts Houses personality quiz - results behind cut.
Gryffindor - 59
Ravenclaw - 92
Hufflepuff - 79
Slytherin - 36
If people want, I can put up the link to that quiz - it's a long one, but the format is really interesting and the questions are the sort you'd get on a real personality test, not the ones that you can tell immediately where your answer will lead you - but I've only got one browser open right now. So I'm being lazy.
