ate today: chai marsala tea, and zucchini bread.

in your bag: *grabs box from dresser* umm... my SCA membership voucher print-out, a cloth fan, a postcard from the governor's mansion, one of my sketch journals, a Buffalo Exchange tag ($16.00, might well be the tag for the bag itself...), mascara (there it is!), chap stick, a green ribbon, my seal and wax (I don't know why...), an acorn, and a chirugeon's pin. I haven't used this bag much recently...

last watched on TV: narsilion was watching Oprah for a bit a few days ago, and I saw a minute or two of that. Normally I don't watch TV.

plans for today: get new couch settled, go to library, maybe go to a movie or something... we were thinking of going to the zoo, but it's too hot and there will be too many people.

last thing bought: yesterday we bought some grapes, baking supplies, and I had taco time for dinner. bad me. XD

last showered: you know what I said earlier about being a lazy bitch at the moment? yeah. more of that. I think it was day before yesterday.

I need: a job. so that I can have the other thing I need - money for this year's tuition and all that.

looking forward to: going to the library, going camping next month, starting my senior year in a few months.

worst part of the day: any time I get the panic of "ohmigod I need a job or I'm gonna panic!!"

best part of the day: pretty much any time I have tea, and chattering with narsilion and theladyfeylene about the RPs, books I'm reading, whatever, even though I'm sure they think I'm nuts.

favorite person of the day: I only get one? well, my grandparents put up with my nattering about my guitar for quite a while, and I hardly ever get to talk to them, so they win for today.

thinking about: I really need to practice the guitar more often - my guitar is sort of an heirloom, on its third generation in my family, and have such a deep adoration for it, but I never take the time it'll require for me to learn to play it. I know my having it really means a lot to my dad, too, so it's kind of important to me that I make some progress on it.

current annoyance: see the above. oh, and needing a job. noticing a pattern?

current obsession: tea. and travel books. not like guidebooks, but books about people's stories from traveling. I get like this every summer - I start getting serious travel-lust.
