a much-needed update
Jul. 24th, 2004 09:16 amRevamped the color-theme on my journal today - I'd gotten so used to making specialized color schemes for game journals, but I'd never done it for my own LJ. So, a peach and green theme for me, for now. I might switch to blue and... something, but this is what I managed for now, and it took long enough that I'm leaving it. I really want to figure out backgrounds at some point... they look so cool, and are simple supposedly.
Today is one of those days that makes me want to tell everyone in the world "if anyone ever tells you it rains all the time in Seattle, they've never been there in late July." It was over 95 degrees yesterday, probably will be again today... and is not the sort of weather I'm terribly happy in.
But! I get to go to a wonderful housewarming party tonight and see some friends I haven't seen in a while, so I'm happy.
In other news - one of
narsilion's friends gave me a huge wooden case of OIL PAINTS and DRAWING BOOKS! *Squees* I am so psyched. And Narsilion herself gave me a little little stuffed white kitty with huge pale blue eyes, for surviving my interview the other night. Also, I found 'Shrek 2' just as good on second viewing as on first, and I meant to finish a fic last night but got distracted by drawing. Hopefully the fic will be finished today. Or tomorrow.
