grumble grumble
Aug. 4th, 2004 09:12 amIt vastly amuses me that as soon as I manage to find online radio to listen to, the very first song that comes up is Hoobastank's new "The Reason"... for some reason I really don't like that song much.
Ah well. Music is good.
I wonder if you can skip songs on these things...? I need new icons, too.
ETA: I also hate the lab computers. XP apparently has this terribly annoying feature where if you hold down the shift key for 8 seconds, it decides that you want to turn on some annoying feature that locks your keys in caps-lock, among other things. The problem with this? When I can't figure out what to write, my habit is to hold down the shift key while thinking. Then, when the stupid thing turns on, I can never figure out how to turn it back OFF. And it does something to the mouse so that I can't even log off properly. Bastard stupid thing. *Growls*
I'm not sure how much I'll be online today - I'm running out of things to entertain myself with on the 'net, since my usual answer at home is to just read a book or knit or whatever in between comments and all, and I don't feel comfortable doing that on lab computers, despite the fact that this place is pretty deserted. I'll be on and off, probably, though, since I'm hoping to get some stuff on the RP figured out.
