Term Papers

rivendellroseI'm currently working on my term paper for Greek and Roman Religions (6 pages of quotes and nothing else right now, hopefully gaining 2 pages of analysis and a thesis later this evening).
I thought I'd also share the joy that was my English term paper grade, since it was returned today, probably not least because it cheers me up to think about it, since I was halfway convinced at the time that I was essentially writing an annoying, obvious, and rather trite piece of crud.
Pissy, snarky, curmudgeon-y old English prof gave it a 4.0!!!!
The commentary, as near as I can decipher his handwriting, reads "an admirable essay, showing great intellectual power as well as literary sensibility."
That sure *sounds* like a good thing, even if I couldn't tell for the life of me exactly what it means.... ;)
