I'm not sure, but I think I'm getting sick.

I watched the VP debate, then was doing my usual running around at work, getting classrooms locked up. And at about 8:30, I started feeling nauseated. And sort of dizzy. And a bit feverish. And it kept going away... then coming back. And going away again... and then coming back.

I'm still not sure if it's really anything, but I wasn't feeling all that great first thing this morning, either, or mid-afternoon yesterday... so I think I'm just going to drink a bit of tea or eat some peppermint, and go to bed. I might even stay home from classes tomorrow - I only have two, and one is a lecture that one of my friend is in, as well, so I could easily skip out. The other... well, I have five free skips for the quarter, and if I'm coming down with a flu-thing, I definitely want to use one.

take good care of yourself! Did Fey tell you we might stop
by when I get off work tomorrow? I wasn't sure if she's talked to you or not!
Love you and get well quick!
*sends healing thoughts and lots of love*

No, she didn't - I was tired when I got home, so I didn't get on AIM at all. I'll look forward to that, then! Do you have any idea what time it'll be?

*Hugs* Thanks, love you, too!

I hope it's not the death flu that's been making the rounds. Staying home is probably a good idea...keep your body rested up. Curl up with a good book and a cup of tea - even if you still get sick, you will have had a day with a book and a cup of tea. And if you don't get sick, you have a "garaunteed cure" to use next time you feel the flu coming on. =)

Hope you feel better!

Haven't heard much about it, aside from a headline on the Daily commenting about Hall Health preparing for a nasty flu season... but yeah, I think I'm going to. I got almost all the way dressed, then decided that I feel iffier than my usual "it's early" feeling.

Better now than today, which is a busy day, or later tonight, when I have to run a meeting.

Yeah, that sounds like getting sick. I've been fighting off something for the past week, and I know a bunch of other people that are down with exactly what you're describing.

Chicken soup! Chicken soup and tea!

Yup. I stayed home from class today, so I don't have to go anywhere until 7:30 tonight, when I have a meeting.

Except for going out to get food... which might be a good idea, since I realize now that I have no soup. Blasphemy! I can't believe I have no soup!!!

Eheh. Nope. Didn't have any ramen, either. But now I have many cans of soup, to last me for a while!

So what did you think about the VP debate?

I hope you feel better soon!

It was interesting! I was kind of pissed off at the reminders that Kerry and Edwards really aren't as liberal as I'd like them to be (*coughs*gay marriage*coughs*), but otherwise it was quite fun to watch. Edwards had the most lovely expressions, whenever Cheney was talking!

I KNOW!

Cheney looked like a vulture all hunched over with his hands grasped together. And his head was comically shiny. That being said, at least he has two brain cells to rub together (unlike a certain Prestidential candidate...)

Eh, they're all rich white men who don't know shit.

The vulture description is very accurate. I respect the man for the whole situation with his daughter, and for being at least a more intelligent variety of bastard. But other than that? Nope.

Pretty much, yeah. I don't mind rich white men, on principle, mind you. But these ones are just kind of... bleh.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Did you see Farenheit 9/11, by the way? Can't remember...

I didn't, actually. When I shell out the cash for a movie, I tend to go see movies to get me out of the current mess that the world is. So I never got up the gumption to go see it.

Yeah, but I'd seen Bowling For Columbine and I knew that it was going to be propaganda, but it was going to be funny propaganda. I didn't feel righteous anger. I just laughed myself silly watching all the footage of Bush looking like an idiot.
