i hate phones
Nov. 16th, 2004 12:14 pmWhy would an animal shelter bother putting an 'adoption info' line on their main phone (and listed on their website, too!) if it just repeats the same god-damned information from their automated answering service? I wouldn't be calling if I hadn't already looked at the website (to find the number) and seen all the information that's there, and I wouldn't be specifically calling the adoption info line if I weren't interested in adopting one of the animals listed on their webpage!
*Growls* I'd say I'll call back later, but this is pretty much the only time I have time to sit on the phone today. So I guess no more specific info for Jen until tomorrow at the earliest.
They really don't make this easy, do they?
theladyfeylene, you called their adoption line for info about Max a while back, didn't you? Did you have this problem?

Date: 2004-11-16 03:41 pm (UTC)I was hoping to get some concrete information on Jupiter (ID #13363, since there might be confusion with the other (white short-hair) Jupiter they've got) - how he came in to the shelter, whether the previous owner gave any info if he was surrendered, what any health exams he might've had had turned up... basic stuff like that.
