I forgot about the meeting for my group presentation on Thursday, so I'll be home probably around... oh, 3:30, I'm guessing. Grrrr.

Yes, my LJ really has become little more than a posting board for when I need to tel lmy roommates things, despite the fact that I have a cell-phone. It's just easier this way.

I also forgot to write my make-up essay and bring my book for Colonial American Lit. Which means I have nothing to read, hence why I am in the lab. As usual. On the plus side, I've got a few little fics brewing (won't have time for them til after classes end, probably...), and the project meeting should at least be fairly painless. Wish I'd remembered so I could bring a snack. :/ Oh well. I'll just grab something at the cafe if I feel too hungry.

Kari and I had a fun talk about the games this morning, including our coninuing desires to play yet another of our own creation. *Eyes Fey significantly* You know the one, Fey. It's all your fault for giving us the idea.

And damn... I really really REALLY wish we had a Lucius at ADV. It's getting tiring to come up with lies about the invisible Lucius. On the other hand, I'm equally afraid that if we did get one, he'd end up being a total freak, as I have seen at a few other games. So probably best to do without, rather than tempting fate. *Sigh*

...if he's important to the plot, why doesn't someone just pick him up. You can still scout for a new player, but in the mean time you can wave him around like a good little sock puppet, so you don't have to be like "um..he's out..picking up the wash. You see, the machine broke and well, you know how laundromats can be..."

That's what I did at the other game - because I play Narcissa it was easy for me to just play both on the same account. But at this other game, their relationship isn't as stable (they're not yet married, they're younger and more volatile, etc), so I'm not totally comfortable playing both. And it works out at that game that about seven players play more than twenty characters, so none of us really feel up to taking on another time-consuming character, I don't think.

So I'm still hoping, but in some ways it'd be difficult for any of us to grab him.

Yeah... I only play two, myself, but it really does get pretty insane. I might not have numbers exact, but it's damned close.

Thanks! I'm sure it'll work out somehow. It's not like it's debilitating to the game, just frustrating for my Cissa and the other Death Eaters. ;)

*cries* I'm trying to find one. All the ones I keep getting are complete and utter pervs (the one who liked to beat Narcissa for fun leaps to mind as well as the one who said he had been sleeping with Bellatrix and Mrs Black) or can't string a sentence together correctly. I'm too much a bastard, I think.

O.o No, no, I know you're trying and I didn't at all mean to pin it on you! The game's just fine without him, I just keep hoping someone will turn up.

As for not accepting the pervs or illiterates... myself AND Narcissa thank you very very very heartily. I've played Narcissa to one total bastard!Lucius (not any game I'm still in) and it was a living nightmare. Being strict about who gets into a game is one of the main things that makes the difference between a crap game and a really good one, in my opinion.
