Let's see... I'm up early (okay... early for me on a day when I don't have class til 1:30), the cat's going bug-nuts, and the last few loads of laundry are coming along. I need to get some breakfast, go over the last few chapters of Laxdaela saga before class, and get started on my course pack readings for modern poetry.
Finished the drawing last night, so it'll be up later today. I have a niggling urge to continue for a while and do some more portraits - I haven't done this kind of thing in a while. I'd been concentrating so much on figure-work, I'd forgotten how much fun it is to duplicate a person, character or actor who is known to me in detail. I think the last I'd done before this was... David Thewlis, way back the summer before Prisoner of Azkaban came out. I learn so much when I do them, I feel like... it's definitely a good exercise. Takes for frigging ever, mind you. But still good for me.
Cat still won't quit scratching on the cork-board. He doesn't seem to care that I daubed bitter apple all over it. I know I wouldn't touch the stuff, now - I got some of that crap on my fingers and forgot about it, and it tasted awful.
Okay - tea, breakfast, and Laxdaela saga!

Date: 2005-01-25 12:31 am (UTC)Sorry Theo is being so silly, at least Snape can't be blamed for THIS particular bad behavior on his part.
I was thinking though, that he may not make the connection between the bad taste on his paws, and the cork board. If he was biting or licking it, he would, but he doesn't taste the stuff on his paws until he's cleaning himself, and wouldn't make any direct connection to scratching on the board at that time. I'm trying to think of something else that might work, other than of course, the dreaded water bottle. I'll keep thinking, and let you know if I come up with anything wonderous.
Hope you're having a great day!!!
