high school meme

Yeah... I suppose it's been long enough since high school that I can handle doing
[What year was it?]
I graduated in 2001. First graduating class of the new millenium... it seemed pretty neat back then, at least.
[What were your three favorite bands?]
Hmm. I loved Sarah Mclachlan, the Cranberries, and... damn, there must've been something else.
[What was your favorite outfit?]
Oh, man... must've been one of my short plaid skirts, black tights, and sweater type outfits. Horrific, when I look back, because... well, most of the sweaters and stuff I had back then were just horrific, trust me.
[What was up with your hair?]
Something very changeable. Over four years, I went from waist-length medium-blonde hair to mid-length dark red, to ear-length dark red, to a light red pixie cut.
[Who were your best friends?]
Mostly the drama group, along with a good sub-set of the honors and AP students, most of whom I'd been in school with since kindergarten or first grade.
[What did you do after school?]
Theater rehearsals. And more rehearsals. And a few more rehearsals. It was my LIFE back then, aside from classes.
[Where did you work?]
I didn't have an actual paying job til after graduation, but I volunteered for the Pacific Science Center.
[Did you take the bus?]
Nope. I lived about a mile from school, so I either walked or got rides when the weather was truly crappy.
[Who did you have a crush on?]
Looking back, I seem to have gone through the entire roster of gay boys at my school, plus a few random (presumably) straight guys apparently thrown in for variety. C'est la vie.
[Did you fight with your parents?]
Heh. Yes. My parents split right before I started highschool, so it was normally only one parent at a time, but I did indeed fight with both. Mostly over really inane shit - I never had a curfew to bitch about or anything, so I just had stupid surly fights.
[Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?]
*Laughs* Ummm... I'm having a weirdly hard time remembering, actually. Oh, I've always had a thing for Liam Neeson, and for Pierce Brosnan. And I had a bizarre crush on both Alexander Siddig and Andrew Robinson, neither of which I've really gotten over to this day. I shall now hang a big "NERD" sign over my head.
[Did you smoke cigarettes?]
Nope, never have.
[Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker?]
Less "too nervous" and more just plain didn't have the time, most of the time. It was easier to just carry them.
[Did you have a 'clique'?]
Yeah, I guess. I often felt a bit on the outside of it, but that was more often my own fault than theirs.
[Did you have "The Max" like Zach Kelly and Slater?]
...I have no idea what this refers to.
[Admit it, were you popular?]
.......... Reread a few of those previous answers and get back to me if you still haven't figured it out.
[Who did you want to be just like?]
That's a good question... I don't really know.
[What did you want to be when you grew up?]
An actress. I didn't give that up until my senior year, and then I suffered an extreme crisis of identity that I'm still kind of working through. I think my next choice was "writer," which wasn't a hell of a lot better in terms of realism.
[Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?]
In college. I thought I'd be on the other side of the country or the other side of the ocean by now, though.
