Had exceedingly vivid dream this morning that involved having my throat ripped out (well, more like bitten - the fangs were in, but the actual ripping didn't happen) by a tiger. Including sense-memory of tiger's fur against my throat. Woke up with intense need to check my neck, but otherwise not particularly disturbed - even in the dream I was mostly stricken by a feeling of shock and "oh dear, I guess this is it."
I find it ironic that the next thing I was aware of, after assuring that my neck was still intact (twice, if not three times), was my big, stripy, orange cat hopping onto the futon to say "Mom! Wake up!" and paw at my face.
Plans today include reading, reading, reading, possibly a bit of writing, and seeing Mom for a bit, maybe. And seeing if the fic that's been bothering me is feasible.
And maybe coaxing the housemates into watching the second ep of the Horsemen arc tonight when they get home from the anime showing. And maybe finding a new icon - I think I'm sick of the Valentine's candy heart. It's pretty, but not very expressive.
