Finally am caught up in Njal's Saga to where I was meant to be on Wednesday. Still have a ton to read in A House for Mr Biswas, but even our prof said we should kind of skim that, so that won't be so bad. So the school-work for the weekend looks like this:

1. Finish up to chapter 107 in Njal's Saga.
2. Write outline and figure out thesis, etc, for 5-page paper for Sagas class.
3. Read/skim the poetry for this week.
4. Write response paper for the poetry.
6. Write Sagas paper.
7. Read/skim to the end of Mr Biswas.

Oh, and
8. Figure out schedule and be ready to register on the 21st.

Why, oh why, are they not offering Old World Prehistory this quarter? I think I'll be taking intro to archaeological method, and possibly... comparative study of death? I'm not sure about that one, but it sounds interesting at least.

"Comparative study of death" was THE MOST AWESOME CLASS I took in my entire college career. But this is me, who has been anthropology-of-death-obsessed since the second grade. YMMV. But I'd say give it a try, if you can (it's a pretty popular class, but that shouldn't be a problem for you by now), especially if it's still taught by Prof. Green. I <3'd him lots.

Yup, it's still Professor Green - I remember you said he was one of your favorites, so I'm glad I'll finally be able to take something with him. I sat in on a day of it last year to show a video, and it looked pretty awesome. *Crosses fingers for registration*
