X-2 relaxation
Mar. 15th, 2005 12:07 amWent to the baronial business meeting tonight, then came home and watched "X-2" with housemates. It was a pretty good movie, on the whole - I liked the effects they used for Nightcrawler, and he was an interesting character, along with the familiar folks from the first movie. I'm torn between liking Wolverine and finding him annoying, which is what I think one is meant to feel... so that's good. I just plain adore Magneto, but that's just me loving anything that Sir Ian does, along with this being a pretty cool part for him. As usual, could've done with less Patrick Stewart. I'm not sure why I don't like that man, but I just never can seem to get over it.
And, of course, I amused myself by commenting on The Nose! every time Peter Wingfield had a brief moment on screen. Particularly when he was actually without all that camo-makeup. Makes it hard to ogle if one can't really see features. Anyway, it was nice seeing him in something, since I'm not at all devoted enough to hunt up the many of the rest of his mostly-craptacular appearances. Poor fellow - it does suck to be an actor, sometimes.
Tomorrow, I'm planning to do the pencilling on the achievement, and possibly the calligraphy if I feel ambitious. For now, it's early to bed to make up for my nasty late night last night.
