Owie. I spent too long looking at a computer screen today, reading a ginormously big epic fic. And I forgot to get flowers. Damn it - and I also forgot that I was going to burn the old greens in the fireplace while we had a dura-log going. Shit. *Headdesk*

So much for being a good little pagan this Ostara. At least I didn't flat out forget, like I have with holidays in the past.

Hmm. I really meant to get some writing or drawing done today, but it seems that I never got around to it. Did a nice profile last night, though - I was happy about that. I'd say there's still time to get some writing done, but I'm weirdly sleepy. And considering how early I'll need to get up to be on time to work on Tuesday, I'd rather start going to bed a bit early tonight.

...No, I will make myself write a bit tonight. I will make myself practice, damn it, even if it's just something fluffy and stupid. Not doing it just because I'm not feeling the spark is a bad habit to get into - that's how things never get finished. And maybe I can get a bit of drawing in... I almost feel like I'm ready to start free-handing rather than looking at photos of my current subject-of-choice, which would be lovely. Far too few good pictures to be had of that boy. Well... at least not enough that are good subjects for drawing directly from.

I didn't realise that you were working this week, I thought you were getting the whole week off. I know you need the hours, but it would have been so nice for you to have that time. Darn!

Oh, and Happy Ostara (a day late :P) My calender says today (Monday) but then I remembered from past years that it's earlier here. Doh!

I don't even bother with calendars, anymore - if the twentieth is more convenient, I celebrate then, and if the twenty-first is, I celebrate then, instead. Close enough, I figure.

Yeah, I've got work this week - I'd prefer to not, but we've got a busy week of conferences and stuff, from the sound of it, and the money will be nice. At least I had last week. And then of course there's the fact that at least work doesn't follow me home as much as classes do.

Would have been nice for you to have some time off though.
Hopefully, at least, it's daytime hours? ;D

Yeah, it's daytime - 8am-5pm was the quoted time. I'm hoping we'll be getting off a bit earlier (or maybe starting later!) than that on a few days, but if not, it's all good.
