Feb. 17th, 2003 04:26 pmHad an awesome time going to Portland yesterday--picked up black wool for a hood to go with my unfinished winter cloak and three books, all of which I've been looking for (and all of which were used--go me!), had lunch at a great little authentic Mexican place, looked for some action figures Bethany's been wanting (no luck, sadly--but I did see the Eowyn action fig finally, and boy am I glad I *didn't* find it back before Christmas--it totally would've made me scream with frustration to see how ugly it was!), and generally fooled around looking through the biggest damned bookstore I've ever seen. Loads of fun.
When I got home I decided to finish the fanfic I've been reading--best to give myself closure and finish it off so I can actually concentrate for the rest of the week, not constantly thinking about wanting to finish it. But I was only able to get to the second-to-last chapter last night. So this morning I got up and finished it.... but NO CLOSURE because it's NOT THE LAST CHAPTER. Damn. I'd thought things were too complicated to solve so quickly... but I was hoping I was wrong. So now I have to wait to see what's going to happen. Aarrgh. Very bad for my sanity.

And YAY to going to Portland with Christine!!!!
