Alright, so I'm soooo spoiled by being in huge fandoms. I'm going nuts over the lack of reference sites for Highlander - it's very very hard to write fic when I have to find one of my housemates to double-check facts and ask whether certain things have ever been established. Yes, this is partly (okay, mostly) my fault for only having seen half the series, but... we only have seasons 3, 4, and 5, and narsilion has 3 right now, and most of what I don't know (from what I'm told) would be in season 2, anyway. So grrr.

So far, the FAQs I've found online have been very helpful about all the things I don't need to know - like Duncan's car make and license plate number, and exactly what kinds of swords are used in episodes from the first two seasons. Potentially useful at some point... but I'd prefer information about, you know, the people I'm writing about!

I've found a site for info about Methos, and its VERY comprehensive. Bless them for that. But what I really really really need is all the background and stuff that's revealed about the Watchers. I would loooooove just a nice run-down of all that is revealed about them. That's all I really need. But no, that doesn't exist. And it's hard to write a Watcher-centric fic without that kind of information.


Ahem. Beyond my fannishness of doom. Anyway.

Thank you for the birthday greetings! I just got home, went to breakfast with my honey and am now going to do some laundry (whee)
Guess what! I made you tea! The tea came from Galina, but Galina had a Dr.'s appointment and wasn't in on Friday so Natalia told me how to make it. It may be somewhat different because Natalia and I had measurment understanding problems, she just mixes it up and when it looks right, it's done, and since I have never tasted it before, I'm not completely sure how it's supposed to taste (as fart as how much spicyness you want) I decided to err on the side of caution (I hope) because you can always add more spices to the mix if you want.
You will laugh your ass off when you learn what it's made of.
