I Am A: Neutral Good Elf Ranger

Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Hmm... rather unsurprising to those who know my favored DnD character, Niamh. This is pretty much her exact description. ;)

Am now off to try various designs for a Joan of Arc. *Grins* Wish me luck finding nice armor ideas!

Went to the New Harem (AKA the house I lived in over the summer) for a potluck with all the old crew this evening--bread and cheese and veggie trays and lots of drinks and homemade hummus and crepes and two kinds of torte (Cora's and my contributions to the mix). And it was wonderful--I love those folk so much. And it's just like the old Harem, now that Christine and Graylan are back, and the house is so much better for parties than the old apartment ever was. And Emily and Josie said bunches how much they'd missed me, which was really nice. I'm so sad that I never knew Josie very well before the end of this summer--I'm gonna miss her so much when she goes off to Jordan for the Peace Corps.

Then when we got back we met up with Dora to go watch the movies in the quad--Grease and Chicago, although we missed most of Grease. It was cold and kinda misty, but I love Chicago, so I had a great time anyway.

Tomorrow, I must read Nietzche. And some other stuff, too. And do my first linguistics homework. Whee. Ah, well... we're maybe getting together to watch another movie with Terra and Dora tomorrow night, so that'll be fun. And the reading will be interesting, at least...
