I'm sure there's something inherently wrong about listening to Queen's "Princes of the Universe" while writing an essay on The Lord of the Rings. The Good Professor would scold me horribly.

Unfortunately, I was desperate for something that would wake me up. Hence "End of the World" by REM following this, and then a transition back to the purely instrumental stuff that I'll hopefully actually be able to work while listening to. In a bit, maybe I'll take a shower to wake up... I want the calamari and ice cream to digest first, though.

Yeah... it occurred to me after the fact that I was probably bucking for a tummy upset. Thank the gods it seems to've gone down okay. *Eyes abdomen dubiously*

Wheeeeee. It will work. I know it will. It's just a matter of how much of my life will be eaten up by it, and how much stress I'll be under between now and Monday afternoon. Because I really don't want to beg for an extension of a few days, only to have this frustration dragged out further.
