progress

I have almost exactly ten pages - I just need a few more, and I've got plenty of material to cover, so yay! And last night at about one in the morning, I had a complete break-through on one of my little mini-headings, which made me so happy that I had to run upstairs to tell zinjadu all about it.... and then we got stuck talking about random shit until 3am. So... not as much progress as I would have liked, but balanced out by the that one really kickass idea.

Still have to finish my paragraph on the Elves, flesh out the stuff on the Dwarves a bit more, write Ents and Men, and write my conclusions on the paragraph about the Dead. And then rework my concluding paragraph, 'cause I wrote it a really long time ago and it probably doesn't really fit what I'm trying to say perfectly anymore. That'll actually be easier than the filling-in-analysis stuff I was doing yesterday, I think - it's hard to fit things together so everything works when the organic progression of ideas is going another way sometimes.

Five hours til I go to work, then four hours at work, then however long it takes after I get home if I'm not done yet. And I need to remember to reinstall my printer's software so I can actually print this thing. Whee.

Curses on zinjadu for giving me another fic idea. It pleases me so much, and so much makes me want to work on it right now.

Things are going pretty well, yeah - I've still got a lot of work to do, though. I keep getting distracted and just reading whenever I'm trying to find quotes. Whoops. I guess that's the hazard of writing on something I love.
