at the ocean

rivendellroseI'm in Ocean Shores!
We got here about 1:30am, unpacked everything, explored the cabin, and then crashed into our beds. The place is really nice, all wood panelling, and the bedroom I'm using smells like cedar, so that's a really nice little feature. And, obviously, there's cable internet! I'm not planning to be online much, but I'm happy to be able to at least check on things and make an update or two while I'm here. *g* Sadly, there is no DVD player, but that just means I might actually get some work done, so in the end it's a good thing.
Went for a nice long walk down the beach and back today, after breakfast, and am now settling in to think about getting some work done. My cold/allergies/whatever the heck it is is still bothering me, but not too badly at the moment.
