Well, yes - it was a horrible moment. But god... it was just such a good moment for Methos' character. And a damned good line, too.

Not really - the people on the board just got off on a tangent about him, so they started a thread devoted to him particularly. Which is too bad - I'd be all over it if he was on it. Nothing attracts my attention to a show quite like the words "Peter Wingfield."

I turned on First Wave on SciFi the other day, and Peter Wingfield was a dream-state baddie, and I was all "oh, cool!" And then Jim Byrnes was in it, and I was all, "is this First Wave, or Highlander? Make up your mind!"

They aren't both in it regularly - they were just both guest-starring in that episode. Have you ever seen First Wave? It's a really campy SF show about a guy who figures out that aliens are invading earth, and all the clues are in Nostradamus's prophecies. And also, they're impersonating humans and doing bad bad things. The episode in question was "Shadowland" - I don't think either of them were ever in it before or after.

Nooo, I've never seen that show - I don't actually watch much TV anymore, except the occasional episode of Stargate or re-runs of shows I've already seen. I'll have to make an effort to find that episode, though.

Poor boys, caught in another campy sci-fi... but at least it's work. Worse things than bad jobs can happen to actors.
