My dreams have been on complete crack lately.

Night before last, I dreamed I was on jury duty again (no, not the same case, a different one!) but for some reason we were sequestered with the defendant and he was arguing everything with us and all. And Duncan MacLeod was randomly there (no, I have no idea, but it definitely at least looked like him, although I apparently thought it was someone else, in the dream).

Last night my brain decided to do a new variation on the traditional "I forgot that I had another class and now it's finals time" or "I forgot to memorize my lines and now it's opening night" dream. In this case, I apparently forgot about a whole other job that I had. Riiiight. o.O

It's the day of the feast of the sun, and for the first time in weeks, the sky is cloudy. Oh, the irony inherent in living in western Washington...

But! We get our coramegan back today!!! *Dances* YAY!!!

But then once I was on LJ very late at night typing some innane comment when I SWEAR TO GOD the person's icon WINKED at me, except it's not a GIF and doesn't move but I SAW IT WINK.

That was when I decided it was time to get some sleep. @__@

My mind never gives me what I like, remember? This is the mind that gave me that crazy dream about Mel Gibson, after all... although at least I understood where that was coming from. If I dream about fictional characters I actually like, it's always in a vague "I think that was them..." kind of way. *Sighs*

No sun for me, no. Good thing I did the feasting yesterday. ;)

Yes! Plotting!! I was thinking... if we do get her totally hooked on Firefly (which I do not doubt will happen), we may have a teeensy bit of a problem finding someone for her to dress as for the premiere. Saffron was the only possibility I could come up with so far, but Saffron would be tricky.

I dreampt that I was a mob target, and I had to hide from them, but then I popped off the big mob man and the hitman that was after me (who looked like Billy Crystal) gave us a surfboard, and then you and I went surfing. And then as we were n our surfboards, dream me thought - WTF? I can hardly walk, how the hell can I surf? - and then I was back in my kitchen and there was a construction force there digging up a buried city made of bean paste under our floorboards.

I am indeed. I have been craving mochi like there's no tomorrow, it's awful. Though the bean paste was more akin to refried beans than red bean paste.

And I did go to an amazing Chinese place last night, and partook of wontons and terriyaki and sweet and sour chicken.
