Riiight. So Remus and Eomer somehow bridge the gap between their worlds (hey, it's been done too often for me to both with how), but Eomer decides he really likes girls... crazy, underage girls from another universe. So he runs off with River. Remus has angsty sex with Snape (!!), and then is so traumatized he decides to try a relationship with a cranky old cat. 'Cause apparently the sorrow has broken his mind. He gets some good advice from Methos (well, what else are 5,000 year old men good for, I suppose? ...nevermind), and then... follows Eomer to the Firefly 'verse and falls in love with Mal.

I would title this "One Crack After Another." And I think

zinjadu would read it, because she's crazy like that. I really can't imagine that anyone should write it, though.

How would you feel if Seven/Eight was canon?
First, I'd wonder who slipped Tolkien's estate the really twisted crack, and then I'd write a nasty letter to the ST franchise for not only raping Tolkien's canon, but making the obliviously straight boy finally realize he's gay, but still completely miss the poor man who's been in love with him for seven years.
