a day off!!!

Had to get up at 7:40 this morning to see if co-worker emailed that she wasn't coming in, so that I could watch the office for a few hours if that was the case. Thankfully, she had not. So I went back to bed, and hopefully she was there this morning as she should have been.

I'm waiting on the revision of my financial aid, after they look over my dad's actual tax forms from this year. I'm expecting to lose some of the aid, since he always estimates low. But the one scholarship that always gets me through isn't need-based (hallelujah), so it shouldn't change that, at least. Have I mentioned that I still don't know how I got that scholarship to begin with? It still boggles me. I really have to get a thank you letter to the executor of the fund, this year.

I've been awake half an hour and so far my emotions are wonky, my right ear is plugged so badly I can barely hear out of it, and my cat ate a moth. Right in front of me. I hate when he does that. Makes me feel guilty.

I need breakfast and tea, and then working on my writing. I have a bunch of requests to fill that I've been putting off. *g*
