My body rebelled against the plan to get up early. I dragged myself out of very heavy unconsciousness at 11:16.

So much for getting a lot done early in the morning... Curses upon femininity.

Oh, and I'd just like it known that I woke up with Sugarland's "Just Might" stuck in my head. Wah. Happy song that makes for wistfulness and fannish feelings of sorrow.

Must go accomplish things, now.

Gods yes. I loooooove that soundtrack - I'm listening to it right now, in fact! I keep getting wallpaper and fic bunnies off all the songs... too bad my graphics skills suck and I'm supposed to be doing homework. ;)

Have you heard her Serenity FST, too? Some of the stuff on there is just flat-out amazing.

"Song of the Siren" sounds like it actually should have been in the movie, doesn't it? And "No Net Below" is one of my new favorite songs. And "Bang the Drum Slowly" makes me weep!

"Song to the Siren" totally sounds like the fight in the Maidenhead, yes! I'm a huge fan of "Wing-Stock" just for how much it sounds like flying, and yes, of course, "Bang the Drum Slowly" breaks my heart every time I hear it. "How Death Comes" and "Boys of Bedlam" are both so deliciously creepy, too, and "Long as I Can See the Light" has totally curled up in my heart and become Mal's theme song. ;)

Which reminds me - back in the main Firefly FST, I can't remember what "Isn't that What Friends are For?" was intended for, originally, but ever since Serenity some of the lyrics have given me the biggest Mal-and-Zoe-friendship woobies.

"Isn't that What Friends are For?" is for the end of Out of Gas, when they all come back to the ship and save Mal's life. It's very Mal and Zoe-y. I just adore that soundtrack!

It always seems to happen on days when I'm most vocal about the "I'm going to get up early and get work done!!!" thing. *Sighs* Maybe I shouldn't say it anymore. ;) *hugs*
