This whole knitting-in-the-round, trying to make socks farce will probably end with me making a pair of brilliant, hideously yellow leg-warmers, then screaming and giving up. But it's fun, for the moment.

maymargaret showed me before she left for Brittany, but I haven't really practiced since then... Hopefully one of those cutesy little "Teach Yourself to Knit!" kiddy books I've got will remind me sufficiently for me to figure it out.
