So... yeah. I'm a moron. Forget what I said earlier in the week about being mad at somebody.

I really need to just get a grip and stop jumping to the wrong conclusions. Must learn to be calm and not overreact. I get too protective of people, and I screw things up. For everybody who knows what I'm talking about, everything's fine. Forget what I said--she's got reasons, they make sense, and I understand what's going on. And if I hadn't been such a flake, I'd have just asked her about it straight out from the beginning. For those who *don't* know.... gods, just forget about it. I'm embarassed just thinking about the whole thing, honestly.

Sooo..... moving on. What do you all think of the presidential candidates for next term? ;)

No, seriously--I'm honestly curious. Shrubby-boy needs to go, and I'm interested to see who we've got to replace him. Any thoughts? Rants? Random commentary?

And as far as the presidential candidates, I'm pretty much all for Howard Dean. He's all grass-roots and stuff (check out his $2 a plate turkey sandwich fundraiser!).

I hear you... believe me, I've spent the last term pretty much constantly saying "don't blame *my* state--we were a win for Gore!"

As for Nader... the man was good. But I knew he didn't stand a chance at winning. Regardless of whether I agreed with him more than Gore, I had to vote for the one who stood a chance of keeping that moronic good-ole-boy out of office, and to my mind, that meant Gore.

Yeah, I was sad... my friends and I already had cemented plans today/this evening, so I wasn't able to go. I was all psyched about it, too, before I realized...

I agree completely about him, though. Good man. I'm seriously hoping it's not just us liberal west-coasters who thinks so... it's nice that our state was one of the ones that came out strongly against Bush last time, but I'd like to see the whole *country* come out against him, this time around. Or at least enough to get him out of office!
