random distraction

- It's probably lucky that I missed the whole pop culture phenomena that was Buffy; I can only imagine what an awful crush I would have had on Giles, had that not been the case. Mmmm... snarky, bad-ass old British librarian... with a really sexy voice. Although in highschool, it totally would have been Spike or Angel...
- The thing about Giles reminds me that I meant, quite a while ago, to write a series of... ahem, erotica focused on the various librarian-type characters I love. And possibly a few original bits, too, to round things out. Now that I'm not 'seeing' a librarian-in-training anymore, I find myself considering it once again... I wonder if there's enough material?
...Maybe I should write the erotic thing I already promised to write before Idig myself another grave pick up another project.
- And speaking of libraries - in the future, checking the publication date on a piece of research before checking it out would be wise. 20-some-odd-years is a long time in any field, let alone animal behavior/biology. Yay for useless books. :/

Date: 2006-01-25 04:18 pm (UTC)Yesterday was clear and sunny, but they're calling for rain again for the rest of the week. I'm not sure why they're making such a fuss of it, this isn't really all that different from any other winter. Except the Seahawks, of course. That's a totally new addition to the whole thing. ;)
