Mmm... teeeeaaaaa...........
I dreamed that there were so many people going to the Careers in Writing seminar that I'm going to this afternoon that they had to move it to the stadium. Curse one of my most marketable skills for being so damned common. With any luck, most people won't come because it's on a Friday afternoon... After that, I have another editorial meeting (note to self: actually go over what we did at the last meeting before going to this one...) We're meeting at Don Eduardo's for this one and the UW is providing appetizers. It shall be a great show of will-power if I don't buy myself a Pina Colada or some such.
In other words, I have no idea what state I'll be in by the time I hook up with the rest of the Seattle folks. We're trying to finish our draft of the letter tonight, so... Starting at 5, it's possible I'll be able to catch up with you folks around the middle to end of dinner. I'll call Jessi when I'm getting out, to figure out where you guys are.
I'm so much looking forward to the beginning of spring - I was giddy when I saw some buds on a tree near our house, yesterday - but at the same time there's a definite feeling of "holy crap, spring means my last quarter, and that means I'm almost done, and that means I don't know what I'm doing next," and so forth. And I'm vastly amused that I'll be graduating in the year of the dog, same as I was born. It only took me a full cycle through the zodiac to get through school.....
