Thanks to my work-friend Amy, I've discovered a new, slightly sick pass-time - reading through the personals ads on Craigslist. Dear gods, there are some oddities on there.

The thing that worries me is that I was tempted to write back on one or two of the more coherent ones. Kind of mind-boggling, when you consider I've always had a "dear gods get it away from me" attitude toward personal ads. Am I behind the times, or is that still a reasonable attitude to have, do you suppose?

Probably Almost certainly unwise in any case, as I'm still in a really weird mental space when it comes to relationships. I wish I could just settle into "I don't want one," as it's clear I'm in no fit space to be in one these last few... er... years. Dear gods that's weird to say, or even think of. But it's true, that's how long I've been kind of... not quite right. Call it what you will, explain it how you will (and believe me, I've tried everything) it's a weird state to be in.

*Yawns* Anyway, just more rambling.

I'm going to be soooo out of practice at karate tomorrow. :/

Edit: I am constantly fascinated by the internet and it's ability to completely distract me late at night. I'm going to bed now. Really. If I have weird dreams... let's hope it's more of the 2nd link than the first, shall we? ;)

Yeah. They scare me personally. Even the ones that don't sound scary.
You just don't know WHAT you're dealing with.

*Nods* True, but do you really know any better with people you meet in person at random? I don't know, it's just a funny thought - most of the ads are pretty much worth it only for how ludicrously stupid they are, but there's a few that are pretty decent, too.

I love the picture of Gina with the 3 dogs. All of them are beautiful pictures though.
