Mar. 28th, 2006 01:19 pmI'm feeling cranky about one of my classes (and classmates) and other stuff, so here are a few quick Good Things About Today:
1. Good morning at work chatting with Tim and Ariel, briefly chatted with Amy before leaving for class.
2. I'm really enjoying Stiff, and, honestly, most of my reading for the quarter.
3. Turned in my registration for the NWAC volunteering.
4. Applied for a research assistant position with an English professor, which'd be cool work experience for the sort of stuff I'd like to eventually do as a career.
5. I get to go see what my new English class is going to be like now.
6. Got started on a really cool new icon last night, which I'm hoping to finish after the meeting tonight.
7. Free food at meeting. Always a good thing.

Date: 2006-03-29 05:45 am (UTC)The meeting was good, and you can certainly read it if you like - I'll warn you that it's not a happy book, though, and it's got a lot of things I know you don't like. I really don't think you'd enjoy most of it.

Date: 2006-03-30 03:40 am (UTC)tea holder thingys, so I picked up one for both of us, cause I remember
you saying you prefer those to a teaball. It is really nice, I had never used one before. So much nicer than the balls. O.o (did ANY of that make sense?)

Date: 2006-03-30 05:50 am (UTC)Also, I found the stupid book. It was hiding under the bag of recycling that Theo had knocked over. So whenever you want to pick it up, it's here (neatly stashed on top of my TV so I can't lose it again).

Date: 2006-03-30 02:15 pm (UTC)Yup, I figured it was something like that, and not at all surprised
that the furry son was hiding it, because you had the others right there waiting for me. I knew it would turn up.
