I keep forgetting that it's Tuesday, not Monday. This is dangerous, as I have two papers due tomorrow. Oops. o_O

Must write Death paper. Must finish Anthro paper. Must 4.0 all three classes so can graduate cum laude. Forget that, new goal: Must not pull first true all-nighter in my last freaking quarter, because that would be kind of sad.

There's almost something poetic about pulling an all nighter so close to the end. Like everything was building up to the final conflict. That's probably not a good way to view your papers though. So, scratch that.

Ummmm, good luck! Remember to take a break at least once an hour so you don't strain your eyes.

Very true - if this was a movie or book, I would definitely have to do an all-nighter, complete with inspiring music. As it's real life... meh. I might still, but it's more likely that I'll struggle and fuss and panic and then, if it's not done by 1am or so, go to bed anyway and finish the damned things in the morning, at work. Not the best plan in the world, but I've done it before...

Thanks! I'll try to remember that - I usually have to go up at least once every few hours to fuss and panic at my housemates, so I should be okay. ;)

Yeah, that's how it's starting to look... I was really hoping it wouldn't be quite so busy as all this. Ah well - as you said, almostdoneyay!

Oh boy, good luck on that. *hug* Death- is that a philosophy class? Sounds like one I took! Good luck, and don't forge to sleep at SOME point.

Thanks! *hugs*

It's kind of a mix - it's cross-listed between the anthropology and comparative religion departments, but the professor also tries to encourage med and pre-med students to take it, and focuses a lot on the impact of the modern medical culture on death as a process.

What was the class you took like?

Mine was a straight philosophy class- what is death, what are our perceptions of it. What is murder? What *counts* as murder? And such things.

Ooo. That does sound interesting! It sounds like we got opposite sides of the same conversation, in a lot of ways.

Do you mind my asking what all you read for it? I'd be happy to post my reading list in return, if you're interested.
