Not doing well on the emotional scale this morning. Objectively, everything seems fine, but it's the time of month when I don't seem to have the coping mechanisms to handle much of anything. An hour or so of peace and quiet would probably fix everything but, as I am at work, and as lunch hour today is M's going away party, I doubt that's going to happen.

We'll see if I make it as far as contra tonight. I want to see everybody, but I feel right now like all I'll want to do at the end of the day is curl up and ignore the world.

Incidentally, does anybody want a cat? My co-worker in NY is trying to find a home for his very very cute 8 month old Maine Coon mix. Pretty foofy grey tabby-boy with brilliant green eyes and a face somewhat like a bobcat. Apparently he's hassling their older cat, but he's a lapcat, very cuddly, has all shots and is neutered and housebroken. If any takers, I can forward you to him (bonus if you happen to be in the area, so poor Rudy (the kitty) won't have to be shipped, as co-worker is currently desperate enough to do. I don't know how to upload .pdf's, but I can email the flyer to interested parties.

Edited to fix poor Rudy's age, and I'm working on getting .jpg format pictures from my co-worker. He's really really cute. If I didn't already have the Theo-monster, I'd be all over snagging him.

I hate when there's something wrong even though there's nothing wrong, you know? Because there's not much you can do about nothing. I hope you feel better about things soon.

*Hugs* It's okay, I just have unbelievably wonky hormonal-moods. After ten years, I can at least recognize them for what they are, nowadays...

Whee, thank you! I was so proud of it. XD I can find the brush for you when I get home - I'm pretty sure it was out of an image pack from 100x100_brushes, but I don't recall exactly which set at the moment. I have the artist listed as setine_kitsune, if that helps.

I'm talking to A right now, and he says the kitty actually gets on really well with his male cats, but not with the one tiny female. I guess she jumped him one time, and now they're in all out feline warfare.

And the real reason for getting rid of him is that his wife has, I quote "a petting zoo." Poor Rudy. :P

My experience has been that male cats get along way better than female cats do with others (male cats can deal with being beta, but females want space for kittens?)

Also, not to be completely insensitive (distracted by cat), I hear you. i've pretty much cancelled all of my weekend plans for some R&R because of it. *hugs* It's one day of many. It'll be all right :)

Don't worry, I entirely understand being distracted by cat. The pictures of Rudy went a long way toward at least displacing my mood - now I'm just wibbly about kitty, instead of being generally wibbly. :P

I'll probably feel better later in the day, and I know, objectively, that going to contra will probably help more than it'll hurt. Besides, I have a long-standing promise from one of the guys who's finally coming back tonight for a waltz, and I'd hate to miss out on that.
